First Day of School 2017

Well, it's official! We have all four kids in school now! Megan is in Grade 6, Ethan in Grade 4, Casey is in Grade 2 and Hannah-Rose is in KINDERGARTEN!!!!! Here are some pictures from the first day(s) of school. Our school's kindergarten program is full day Tuesday/Thursday/scheduled Fridays and Monday/Wednesday/scheduled Fridays. Hannah-Rose is in the Monday/Wednesday program and had her first day of kindergarten this past Friday as the kindergarten also does a staggered entry where half the class starts on one day, the other half the class the next with the full class on the third school day. Today, Hannah-Rose gets to meet her whole class as she only met half on Friday. As school started on a Tuesday this year, Hannah-Rose had to wait a few days before starting school but we took the other kids to school for their first day and took a picture of Hannah-Rose in front of her classroom door.

This past weekend Jason, Megan, Ethan, and I went skiing at Mount Norquay in Banff. We took advantage of our recent purchase of a GoPro camera to get some footage of what a great skier Ethan is becoming! Jason did the editing and chose the music which I think works well! Enjoy!

First Day of School 2016

September is here which means back to school! This year we have 3 kids at school full time with just Hannah-Rose at home with me all day. I have attempted to start a bit of a tradition of driving the kids to school for the first day which allows me to get pictures of them and meet their teachers even if it is brief!

Well, it's that time of year again! School is almost over for another year which means for our family, we have another Kindergarten Graduation! Four years ago, we celebrated "graduation" from kindergarten for the first time with Megan, two years ago, it was Ethan's turn, this year we celebrate with Casey - the second last kindergarten grad for our family!

WOW!! Where have the years gone? I wish I was better with expressing what's in my heart. I have been so fortunate to have such a loving, creative, helpful girl as my first born! You have been a great help to Daddy and me since you were small! You were born a helper and continue to want to help everyone even though they may not want it! You are so beautiful my girl and as you enter your second decade of life on this earth, may you always remember how much you are loved! Happy 10th Birthday Megan!
